Gentle Echoes™ offers commercial licenses for our original artwork and seamless patterns.
Our licensing model supports makers, small brands, and boutique labels while protecting the integrity of our artwork and ensuring fair, respectful use.

All artwork is created and owned by Gentle Echoes™ (Chengyan Tan).
A license grants the right to use the artwork for specific purposes and conditions —
copyright always remains with Gentle Echoes™.

What a License Allows

With a valid license, you may:

• Produce physical products using the licensed artwork

• Sell on Etsy, Shopify, Amazon Handmade, or your own online shops

• Share organic posts of your finished physical products on social media

• Adjust scale/layout for production needs

• Use the design worldwide during the license term

Please note:
This license includes organic product posts only (e.g., photos of your finished items).
Paid promotions, ads, collaborations, sponsored posts, or campaign visuals require an additional Promotional Use License.

Each license covers one product category (e.g. blankets, tote bags, mugs, stationery).
Additional categories can be added upon request.

Licenses are available for different production levels (e.g., maker batches, small brands, larger productions). Please contact us for details.

🚫 Restricted Uses

The following uses are not permitted unless explicitly approved in writing:

❌ Digital Restrictions

• No selling or giving away the digital file

• No uploading the artwork to POD platforms
  (Printify, Printful, Redbubble, Society6, Zazzle, Spoonflower, etc.)

• No use in templates, downloadable products, or digital assets

• No use on stock sites or graphic libraries

❌ Usage Limit Restrictions

• No exceeding licensed production quantity

• No using the design outside the licensed product category

• No extending use beyond the licensed term

• No sublicensing or sharing files with manufacturers/third parties

• Manufacturers may not reuse the artwork independently

❌ Promotional / Advertising Restrictions

Promotional use is not included in standard licenses.
This includes:

• Paid ads

• Sponsored content

• Event promotions

• Campaign visuals

• Collaborations

• Advertising imagery

A separate promotional-use add-on is required.

Organic posts showing your finished products are always allowed.

❌ AI / Machine Learning Restrictions

Our artwork may not be used for:

• AI training

• Machine learning

• Dataset creation

• Style extraction

• Generative AI derivatives

❌ Branding Limitations

• The Gentle Echoes™ name, logo, or brand identity cannot be used to endorse or promote products without permission.
